further information.
d. Fixtures will be online from 9am Thursday 13 th March.
e. The Whitchurch league is full, and we are managing this by starting a little earlier.
f. CS explained that if more teams want to enter the Whitchurch league next year,
we don’t want to say no, therefore we are giving a heads up that we would need to
either have 16 teams in some divisions meaning the league would start mid-March
and end mid-October, which may not be feasible. The other option is a restructure
of the division. If a restructure took place, it may mean some division winners
may not get promotion. To support this, a motion will be put forward at the end of
the season outlining; teams must inform the leagues of extra/withdrawal of teams
by the AGM. This will give the management team time to do any restructuring if
necessary.
12. AOB
a. Shropshire Champion of Champions will be running this year and the
management team would like to support this. The proposal will be the average

winner in each league would represent the 2 leagues at the Shropshire
champion of champions. The league will pay the £25 entry fee. The
management team needs to confirm who would represent the league, if the
same bowler wins another league.
b. Best green comp – some criticism as Simon was the only one doing the
judging. Would someone else want to do this alongside Simon, to help judge
the greens? JH offered. If anyone is interested in judging, please email the
secretary. The judging should be done earlier in the season in June/July. You
will have to untick the box on the website if you don’t want to enter the best
green comp. There is no cost for this comp.
c. Scoreboards- if anyone would like to borrow these, please contact Jack.
d. Match fees .40p per player per game.
e. Norman Ford will be at Prees on the 6 th April, this comp is invite only. Please
can secretaries forward the email to players and confirm their acceptance
ASAP.
f. Can secretaries please send Jack an email of all their juniors and what division
they are in.
CS closed the meeting, thanking everyone for attendance and wished everyone a
