Wed 20th May 2026 Ladies, Juniors and Veterans Champion of Champions Information
I am proud to announce the qualifying competitions for the Junior, Ladies & Veterans Champion of Champions subject to League Participation.
This allows up to 36 additional players to take part in this prestigious competition and allows the winners of each to take part in the main competition the following week.
This competition will take place at Wrockwardine Wood on Sunday 11th October with staggered start times for the three competitions with the Juniors starting later to cater for any of them playing football that morning.
The plan is at the moment to have 20 in the Junior Competition (as it’s difficult to cut any of those competitions out with so many being new), 12 in the Veterans and 8 in the ladies.
However double qualifiers and players being unavailable may mean less players taking part so details for start times and fields will be made nearer the time. (I have had three Junior competitions won by Jack Cooke so far for instance).
In these competitions leagues don’t need to nominate a winner of a competition or averages to be able to take part. This allows each league to be represented.
For those competition winners it will be £10 entry, with leagues paying £20 to enter one competition and then an additional £10 for any other competitions they enter.
Players will need to pay £10 to enter one of these competitions.
I will again be looking for sponsorship for each player as well as in the main competition.

I am delighted to announce the qualifying competitions for the Shropshire Champion of Champions.
This will take place on Sunday 18th October at Bicton starting at 10 a.m.
We believe to have 50 qualifying competitions available and also 21 leagues that can qualify.
As a result this has meant the creation of a Ladies, Juniors and Veterans Champion of Champions so those age appropriate competitions can go into those competitions and give more players the experience of playing in a big competition.
The winners of these three Champion of Champions will go into the main competition.
More details will be released about those three competitions in the next week or so.
Only winners of these competitions can play if they available. If a league cannot nominate a winner then it will go down the reserve list to the next competition or league that does not have a spot in any of the four competitions.
We have tried to grade them mainly on number of entries as well as history and prize money.
