UPDATE FROM THE RUNCORN EGM AT RUNCORN WAR MEMORIAL MONDAY 10th FEBRUARY
Following the resignations from the Runcorn Bowling committee the following people have been elected for the 2025 season
Chairman. Neal Ocego
Vice Chairman. Andy Blakemore
Treasurer. Alan Briscoe
Fixture and Handicap Secretary. Simon Jones
League and Competition Secretary. Stephen Spence
Cheshire Rep. Steve Spence
The new Chairman has asked that all of the clubs ask their members for volunteers to consider taking up a position on the committee next year as the current league and competition secretary will look for support next season as he won't be able to cover both roles going forward. Details of the League Secretary role will distributed to the club Secretaries shortlly.

The Champion of Champions trophy will be held at Halton British Legion bowling club. The qualifying rounds will be held on Saturday April 12th with Finals day Saturday 26th April. The competition will follow the same format as last year with the qualifying round being seeded. Theirs no entrance fee to pay but competitors will still need to pay greenage. Invitations will be sent out shortly via club secretaries. Details of start times will also be sent out later.
Sat 22nd FebJust a quick update for you on the 2025 season fixtures. We have been waiting to finalise the number of teams who will make up the Runcorn Leagues next season. We now have final confirmation from all the club secretaries. Over the next week we will determine the placing of the three new teams and sort out the promotion and relegation issues. Once this has been done the fixture secretary will then complete and publish the fixtures. Thanks for your patience.
