WEEK AHEAD INFORMATION - W/C Monday 22nd September
The season has now been completed with the finals of the Tudor pairs. I will shortly be contacting all of the secretaries with details on the half yearly AGM at Runcorn War Memorial on Monday 20th October 19.15hrs. The meeting will be a close out of the season and the presentation of all of the trophies.

The final of the Tudor doubles took place today at Runcorn Subscription and after some great bowls throughout the day it was Darren Cornes and Steve Owens who defeated Gerald Merry and Andy Houghton to lift the trophy. Id like to thank all the pairs for a great finals day and indeed all of the thirty two pairs who entered the tournament. The games have produced some great bowling with the tournament played in a fantastic spirit throughout. Thanks to all the supporters and helpers for their efforts today. Again lots of help to mark and measure and it all ensured the smooth running of the day.
I’d like to thank Subscription for hosting the tournament over the five sessions including the final and for all the work over the last week keeping the green in fantastic condition and the hospitality from the clubhouse. A special thank you to all the members of Subs who’ve came and assisted throughout the last 10 days whatever the weather indeed Pat, Bob, Jason and Ernie assisted on all five sessions. It’s been greatly appreciated.
