Welcome to Bebington & District Bowling League.

 All results are shown as soon as they are entered by the home team or when I receive them. To enter results you will need a password. Only Club Secretarys registered with the League as such can obtain one. They will be totally responsible for sharing it, i.e. with Team Captains and must change it on change of  Secretary or Captain and will need to contact me to get a new password.     

The BCGBA Junior Merit is held each year involving 32 of the top Junior Bowlers in the Country (Males/Females Aged 18 or under with 2 Representatives from 16 different Counties). This year it is the Merseyside Crown Green Bowling Association's turn to host this Event and I am delighted to say that their Chairman (Steve Davies) and Secretary (Pat Crowther) have chosen Heswall RBL Bowling Club (78 Pensby Road, Heswall, CH60 7RF) to be the venue on Merseyside. The Competition will start at 10am on Saturday 16th August and is expected to finish at about 5pm. The Winner will be the Junior Bowler who wins their 5 Games on the day (Last 32, Last 16, Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final). 
 
There will be Refreshments on sale all day and Spectators for this prestigious Competition will be most welcome.   

 

 
21/07/2025  Pensby B C report the passing of a long time member Peter Sleeman after a long illness. Funeral 1pm on Monday 28th July ay Landican and then at Old Wallaseyans Grove Road Wallasey
 
 
10/04/2025  from Sea Dog.
Sadly we have to inform you of the passing of Bob Kell. He was a true gentleman and formidable bowler. He had been an officer of the Seadog club for many many years. He will be sadly missed by all at our Club and throughout the Wirral. Bob's funeral will take place at Landican Crem. at 10.00am Wed 7th May.

Sad to report the passing of Dave Hulmston - a well known bowler on the Wirral.A fierce competitor and on his day an excellent bowler. Always stayed loyal to the Albany - joined them when just 15years of age! His bowling ability did take him to other clubs as well as the Albany - Hr Tranmere, Gladstone, Pensby and Brom Recs. Never one to withhold his opinion he always had an opinion! President of the Bebington league for 25 years and was honoured when made a Life President. Has his name on a few individual trophies and loved his bowls - also Life President of the Albany Club. Definitely will be remembered by all who crossed his path! Sadly dementia blighted his last couple of years though he still could tell tales of matches gone by, and bowling characters - of which he was certainly one. RIP Dave... or David as George O'Neil would say.
