Southport L.V. League 2026

First Division Mini League

 

1     The League Rules will apply to the First Division Mini League, except there is no practice for any teams.

2     All players must be registered before playing and must have played at least one league game before playing in the Semi-Finals or Final.

3    All games will be played on Neutral Greens, arranged by the Secretary.

4    The Captains will toss a coin for the choice of Odd or Even blocks.

5    Once a player has played for a team in any Divisional Cup, they are cup tied to that team.

6    Handicaps will be taken from the previous years league positions and are as follows :-

        1 London Lions - Scratch

        2 Sandbrook Park BC - +5

        3 Zetland Hotel 'A' - +10

        4 Victoria Park Mohawks - +15

        5 Fleetwood Hesketh 'B' - +20

        6 Scarisbrick BC 'C' - +25

        7 Ainsdale BC - +35

        8 Mere Brow BC - +35

7    To prevent a tie, the team with the larger handicap will receive an additional half point handicap.

8    Teams will be drawn into 2 groups of 4 teams. Each team will play the other three teams in their group. The top two teams in each group will go into the draw for the Semi-Finals.

9    Points will be allocated as such -

        1 point will be awarded for the aggregate match win.

        1 bonus point will be awarded to each team that fulfills all off their fixtures.

Matches to be played on the following Tuesday nights.

16^th and 23^rd June, 4^th August

Semi-Finals night is 18^th August.

Finals night TBC.
